Every once in a while I will refer readers to a post on Anthony Jordan's site. Anthony is running for County Council in District 2 and is really starting to see some traction. This post relates to development, so I thought I would pass it on.
I tried posting a comment on Anthony's blog but it wouldn't take. I wanted to ask him what exactly he meant by "the proper evaluation of development projects in terms of long term consequences."
Does this suggest that he believes that something which is permitted as a matter of right under current zoning should be subject to being denied or significantly modified because of someones theoretical opinion of a "long term consequence?"
What does he believe is improper about the current review process?
