I was a much different blogger when I started. I was incredibly deferential and my use of "we" makes my skin crawl. Nonetheless, I think I've stuck true to my mission statement, which has been:
to take a critical eye to the facts as they are presented to the public with a focus on Howard County politics. There will certainly be issues of national scope, but, as they say, all politics are local. Thanks for the readership, encouragement, and occassional eye pokes. I have really enjoyed this adverture, and all the people I've met along the way. I (sort of) apologize to the people I've ticked off, but mostly hope you will learn to join the conversation rather than pout in dark corners.

I'm not certain that kills it, but will be following up. Thanks!

Hey, "we've" all been in the 'we' pupa stage. Cheers to evolving. Cheers to maturing. Cheers to being happy. Cheer to air. Cheers to kleenex.
ReplyDeleteCongrats HCR. Trying not to post as much but still reading every day!
ReplyDeleteThanks David. We still need to meet up for beers sometime.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this? A boys only club?
ReplyDeleteI don't get it. You can come for beers too, I just don't know who you are.
ReplyDeleteI beg to differ. Also, I invited you to coffee/tea but you had no time.
ReplyDeleteIs this Mr. Howard? I tend not to meet with people that are sickened by my presence. Makes for a messy tea time.
ReplyDeleteIf it were Mrs. Howard, that would make sense.
