Healthy Purge

As noted in my Friday Links, Freemarket found what appears to be Healthy Howard's Twitter site, and let's just say someone should check the switchboard operator.

The Twitter post says "Remember that diet I tried, it works!" linking to a website suggesting that you can lose 37 lbs in the next 10 days without dieting or exercising!!  The apparent means of weight loss is...ahem...a cleanse of the system with an Acai based solution.

This is clearly a hack, but if nothing else it's worth a laugh.

  1. This diet is probably the next healthy mandate...

  2. Be sure and not miss the people who plan to show up at petition signing to impede voter's right to petition the government. Isn't that illegal?

  3. Well, Anonymous 7:02 am, I'm not sure what you mean by "illegal." Is purposefully distorting the provisions of CB 58 and CB 59 to obtain signatures illegal? Perhaps. In which case, those persons gathering signatures should avoid such statements.

But, I don't think anyone will be present to impede anyone gathering signatures. Some people may be there handing out factual information about these bills. Is handing out information that contains different perspectives or opinions something that is illegal? I don't think so. That's just someone else exercising their freedom of speech and freedom of assembly.

  4. Intimidation is certainly illegal. If you were so sure the masses were with you on passage, why the aggression toward the petitioners? You KNEW most people didn't want this density increase and you lied about knowing it.

  5. OMG, Anonymous 10:25 am. There was no intimidation today. What are you talking about? Besides, if you had all the support you say you have, intimidation wouldn't work. So, please, if you don't get the needed signatures, it will be because you just didn't have the support you claim you have. It will NOT be because of any intimidation.
