I am at the HoCoGop primary event at Union Jacks. It is an incredibly lively crowd here. I am going to grab some of the candidates and do some Q and A. I am here with Bob Wheatley, the GOP candidate for House of Delegates in district 12b.
Q: What do you see as the big issues in your upcoming general election campaign?
A: Jobs, Jobs, Jobs! Out of control spending are two of the top issues a delegate needs to deal with in the upcoming months.
Q: How do you see yourself as the best one to deal with those issues?
A: I think we need to make Maryland a job friendly state, reduce business taxes, encourage the entrepreneurial spirit and spend within our means.
Q: How do you plan to campaign over the next couple months?
A: We're campaigning grass-roots, sign waving, door-to-door, literature drops and mailings. But the key is talking to people and understanding what their needs are and coming up with a plan that meets their needs that we can take to Annapolis.
Thanks Bob,
-Trevor
